I am Hon-Jung Liew from Malaysia. I started my 3rd level education in Diploma of Fisheries Science at Universiti Putra Malaysia Terengganu (UPMT) in year 1999. A promotion to Bachelor Degree in Agrotechnology was awarded to me due the excellent academic achievement. My Bachelor Degree in Agrotechnology – Aquaculture at College University of Science and Technology Malaysia (KUSTEM – former name) was completed in 2003. My passionate in research had inspired myself to purse my master degree in 2004 granted with National Science Fellowship by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovative (MOSTI), Malaysia as a fulltime research student in Institute of Tropical Aquaculture (AKUATROP), KUSTEM. In year 2006, I was officially graduated in Master of Science – Aquaculture. My professional career began in year 2007 as a junior researcher in Institute of Tropical Aquaculture, Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT). For the moment, I am following a Ph.D program at Laboratory of Ecophysiology, Biochemistry and Toxicology, University of Antwerp, Belgium granted by the Ph.D scholarship from Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE), Malaysia under supervision by Prof. Dr. Gudrun De Boeck.
