- Curriculum Vitae
In 2006, I graduated as an industrial engineer in biotechnology in Ghent. After finishing my dissertation at Janssen Pharmaceutica I decided to follow a complementary master in molecular biotechnology at the University of Ghent. In April 2008 I got the opportunity to start at the EBT lab as a PhD student. The focus of my research is on toxicogenomics, in which way this technique can give insights on toxicity and give biological support to integrated testing strategies such as QSARs or chemical classification. The strength of toxicogenomics will be evaluated in Daphnia magna and Chlamydomonas reinhardtii as test organisms.
