Part of the laboratory for molecular and cellular toxicology is separated from the rest of the research facilities on a restricted access bases and is well equipped for both prokaryotic and eukaryotic applications.

DNA and microarray lab
The CEQ 8000 Genetic analysis system is a fully automated system, capable of determining the base sequence and fragment length of DNA samples that have been prepared with Beckman Coulter dye-labeled reagents.
Radio-isotope lab
In order to comply to current legislation on Class II radioactive facilities, the EB&T radio lab recently got completely renovated. Old tile floors were removed and were replaced by an impenetrable epoxy coating. To reduce the possibility of airborne contamination a new ventilation system was installed. This new Class II facility allows researchers to work with radio-active isotopes in a safe environment. You can click here for some images of the lab's infrastructure.
