"Perfluorinated Organic Compounds in the Foodchain: a Risk Analysis to Support Government Policy"

The PERFOOD project aims to:

* obtain a quantitative overview of PFAC concentrations in relevant Belgian fooditems

* develop a quantitative model for PFAC contamination transport through the foodchain

* develop new bio-analytical detection techniques for contaminants in heterogenous foodmatrix

* present a risk analysis for the exposure of the Belgian people to PFAC's through food
