EB&T @ SEB metals symposium 2007

The following researchers of the EB&T group will be attending the SEB metals symposium 2007:

Ronny Blust - Platform presentation 'Kinetics of internal and external metal binding; explanations for differences in availability and toxicity of metals across species'
Lieven Bervoets - Platform presentation 'Do acid volatile sulfides (AVS) control the bioavailability of metals to benthic macro-invertebrates?'
Irina Komjarova - Platform presentation 'Effect of Ca2+, Na+ and pH on the simultaneous uptake of of Cd, Cu, Ni, Pb and Zn in the water flea Daphnia magna and zebrafish Danio rerio at environmentally relevant concentration'
Marleen Eyckmans - Poster presentation 'Defence mechanisms of fish with different sensitivity towards heavy metals: Interaction and dynamics of proteins and hormones'
Niko Celis - Poster presentation 'The impact of salinity on the uptake rate of Cd, Cu, Ni, Pb and Zn in the European sea bass'

Details of the congress are as follows:

Essential and Non-Essential Metal
